We were going to watch the tennis at Wimbledon so the location for this was excellent.

The advert stated large room and large bathroom - our first room was not big enough to swing a cat! This was changed and our second room was a lot better but was certainly not worth the money that we were paying. Breakfast was Ok for the money but not enough room in the dining room to seat all guests - we had to make three trips before we could get seated!

    Exclusive

Really clean boutique hotel - very friendly helpful staff. Fantastic breakfast.

location from wimbledon courts. walking distance to tube station.

facilities not upto the standard of a 4 star hotel. website says 'big bathroom'. I think it was very congested and claustrophobic. location on mainroad. noisy traffic woke us up 5-6 oclock in the morning. could not go back to sleep.

    Superb

The location: close to the Wimbledon tennis.

It was fairly expensive. Car parking is limited although that was not a problem for me.

    Very good

The room was very well furnished - shabby chic. The breakfast was very good.

The location was described at 1 mile from Wimbledon however this isn't from the tennis courts. It probably took us about half an hour to walk to the tennis club.

    Fabulous

It was surprisingly quiet, not too far to walk to shops, tube, restaurants etc. Dining room very clean and smart with a few original features, I.E. cornice and stained glass, sash windows. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was small but stylish, bed comfortable had a good nights sleep and everything you could possibly need was there. Very good if you need to visit Wimbledon College of Art, as only a 10 minute walk away. Also, quite easy to get to from m25. Once we parked on arrival, did not use the car until we left.

Shower did not drain and no air conditioning and no where to put bathroom supplies in shower or around sink. No staff after 7:30 no vending or bultler's pantry to get snacks/drinks an location is not close to store. Asked for face cloth (flannels) and did not receive them.

    Good

    Individuality of the rooms

I am not sure it should be called a hotel. It didn't have any social area, it was more like an upmarket B&B. For the cost i would at least expect a lounge with tea / coffee if not to be honest a bar

    Good

We stayed on a Saturday night prior to a family function in Wimbledon. Although owning the property since 2006, it has apparently taken the owners until now to do some refurbishment. We arrived to find the building covered in scaffolding, the carpets all through the building should have been replaced long ago, and it was difficult to tell what had been redecorated , and what was still to do. We stay in quite a lot of hotels/guest houses during the year, and have to say this was being done to a "budget". The room was comfortable enough, but the bathroom was disappointing - cheap fittings and water all over the place after a shower with an inadequate side panel! Breakfast was served until 10am, but when we arrived at 9.30am, it seemed all over. Nobody had told us we needed to fill a form in with our order in advance, hardly "boutique"practice, it was a big disappointment. It will probably do well as Wimbledon is poorly served with good places to stay!

The en suite had recently been refurbished and so was modern and clean.

The lobby smelt like a public toilet. The bedroom furniture looked like mfi rejects. The water was undrinkable but the only alternative was to buy bottled water.

    Good

Really nice guy on reception, helpful and friendly.

Pretty cold room, not sure what was "executive" about it. The walls were paper thin so screaming kids kept me awake all night...not for the business traveller who needs peace and quiet.

    Superb

The hotel is practically a converted house but it is done really well in terms of confort and design. The room was clean, elegant, confortable and cosy while being decorated with a lot of attention to every little colour and detail. The facilities in the room were excellent - flat screen TV with all the Freeview channels, DVD player, kettle, iron & so on. Also nice parking space included in the room price. A really pleasant stay.

While the room dedicated for the breakfast was again outstandingly decorated the cooked breakfast was missing the spark. It could have been significantly improved by adding 1-2 mushrooms, 1 tomato and a couple of parsley leaves to the egg-bacon-sausage-beans oily carb combo.
